This summer we have learned a lot about the Quakers and their beliefs. We have been going to the Quaker Meeting House to learn more about them. We interviewed Harold Jernigan (a member of the Quaker Meeting House) to find out how the Quakers lived. At the meeting house there is a graveyard. There are a lot of old graves there. Some were so old that you couldn't tell what they said. We tried to do gravestone rubbings to find out who was buried there. Sometimes it didn't work because they were so old. We even mapped out the graveyard! It took a lot of work.
