Rutgers Marine Field Station

Tuckerton, New Jersey

Rutgers Marine Field Station is located in southern New Jersey.  It was built in 1930 as a Life Saving Station for the US Coast Guard.  Rutgers University bought the building in 1972 to be used as a research facility.  Each summer the graduate students focus on a different research topic therefore the activities at the station are different each year.
