A message from the
Superintendent of Schools
Dr. Frank Kasyan
Louis Pasteur said it best, “When I approach a child, he inspires in me two sentiments; tenderness for what he is, and respect for what he may become.” What a profound quote! The people we remember are the ones that made a difference in our lives, not necessarily the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones who make the extra efforts to show they care. I believe those kinds of memories are made every day in our classrooms.
I am proud to be the Superintendent of Little Egg Harbor Township School District. I have never worked in a district that has a more caring, committed staff. Not only do they provide an outstanding academic environment for our children, but they also ensure that school is a place where each child is nurtured and valued for his or her abilities and potential.
Little Egg Harbor may be a community that struggles financially and has been hard hit by the economic climate in our nation, but our parents and staff know that there is great wealth in our children, if we continue to provide a quality education that encourages our students to be the best they can be. As the leader of our school district, it is my personal goal to make this happen each and every day by utilizing our resources in a responsible manner that is focused on preparing our children to be the stewards and leaders of the twenty first century.
